Endangered animals

Endangered species is the population of organisms that are at risk of becoming extinct because of their declining numbers, threat of the environmental changes in our world or the poachers hunting them. 40% of the world’s organisms are endangered as of 2006. Many nations have decided to protect these animals by creating laws. These laws include forbidding hunting, restricting land development and creating preserves. Unfortunately, only a few the animals on the endangered list actually obtain legal protection like the Panda. Without gaining public notice, many more species will become extinct.

Check out this website to view the endangered species list.
